Korean Actress Insults Filipino accent
Lee Da Hae, a Korean actress who starred in drama shows such as "My girl" and "East of Eden", had caught the attention of Filipinos after a video than has been posted on Youtube. The video showed her copying and making fun of the accent of a Filipino.
She was a guest on a Korean show EBS entertainment.
Lee tried to show how English, British and Filipino speak using the sentence "Excuse me. I'm a little bit thirsty. Can I get a glass of water please?".
After imitating English and British accent, Lee made fun of the Filipinos showing a version of how they speak english and even got an "Excellent" rating on the program.
Filipinos were not amused by Lee's insult having her being insulted by them calling her racist and ignorant.
A thought for the actress, don't underestimate Filipinos. She should think why Korean people come to the Philippines to study English.

A Visit to the Past
I could still remember the days when i was still a kid. I'd go out everyday and play with my friends, in the rain, or even in the mud. I'd go to the refrigerator, open it and then slowly close it to see if the light would still be on.
I could remember my 7th birthday where i celebrated in McDonald's. My Dad had hired a Mascot. I was scared of those mascots back then. I would go behind my Dad when i saw one of those mascots then my Dad would carry me all the way to them (Darn him!) . Dad would then laugh at me cause I was really scared.
Those were the days. Days which i truly enjoyed back then. How i wish time would just rewind, returning back to my childhood days.
Good times. Good times. :)

1st & 2nd of November
All Saints' day is celebrated every 1st of November in honor of all saints whether known or unknown. It is the day that we commemorate the saints and is consider a National Holiday for some Catholic countries, specifically here in the Philippines.
All Souls' day is celebrated the day after, honoring those of have departed us.
In my Opinion, Catholics celebrate All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day to pay their respects or give time to their beloved ones who have departed. Annually, it is the day when relatives gather to the memorial spots of the ones they loved who have died.
One problem of these holidays is that people tend to forget that November 1 is All Saints' Day. People celebrate November 1 as All Souls' Day, which actually should be celebrated the day after.
Let us pay our respect this day to All the Saints of have given their full commitment to God and let us share at least a prayer for them to know that we haven't forgotten their day.
Youngest Billionaire
I just watched this movie called "the social network". The movie was about Mark Zuckerburg, a sophomore college student of Harvard University, who created Facebook, originally called "thefacebook" with his colleagues and what it was years before, it was called Facebook. Originally, Facebook had a predecessor called Facemash.
Facemash was an exclusive social networking site only on Harvard that would let you pick between two girls that you think is better. The site gained 22,000 visits in just 2 hours after it was launched, which caught the attention of 3 Harvard students. These students would be the reason how Mark Zuckerburg (founder of Facebook) got the idea of making what we now know would be FACEBOOK making him the youngest billionaire in the world.
The movie it self was very interesting. It gave off more information that i thought it would give. I guess some people would also agree with me on that one. Becoming a billionaire just like that *snap*. Thinking of it that way, i guess anybody could become a billionaire. I, a programmer myself, made me think of making my own social networking site. Sadly, the problem is I don't have the patience (and beer) to make one. I'd be in my house whole day just starting at Facebook looking for interesting things (I know, i have a boring life. Deal with it!). I don't know, maybe someday i could make a website that would make me a billionaire like Mark (how i wish!). But people can dream right? Oh well, we'll never know. There is still a lot ahead of me.
